Derek Pesta is a graduate of Pepperdine University with a degree in Business and a Minor in Marketing. He also received his M.B.A. in Finance from Pepperdine University, The George L. Graziadio School of Business and Management. Derek has been with the firm since 2015 as the Director of Operations and strives to make the client experience exceptional.
Jeff is a graduate of San Jose State University with a degree in Business Finance and a Minor in Economics. Jeff is an Enrolled Agent preparing tax returns and representing clients and their tax issues before the IRS. Jeff has served his clientele since 1991.
Jake is a graduate of San Jose State University with a Degree in Accounting. He has 8 years of bookkeeping experience. In 2013 he became a registered Tax Preparer through California Tax Education Council (CTEC),and recently received his Enrolled Agent license in 2018. Jake is dedicated and eager to provide excellent client service.
Alec Ferber is a graduate of Arizona State University with a degree in Business Sports and Media Studies. He is a CTEC (California Tax Education Council) Registered Tax Preparer. Alec is a loyal Oakland Raiders fan and has hiked Mt. Kilimanjaro. Alec is passionate about building long-term relationships with his tax clients and helping make their lives easier.
Jim Turnbull is a CPA (California) and Chartered Accountant in England & Wales and has a degree in Accounting from Institute of Chartered Accountants. Has been in various companies as CFO, Controller and Accounting Manager for last 25 years and since 2006 specialized in taxation. Jim believes the tax experience should be more than completing tax forms but also the chance to evaluate your financial position, help save taxes and position yourself to meet life’s goals.
